As someone that is all over the place, I have always struggled to boil my vision down to one cohesive message. I just want to make things that people enjoy but it has to be just about more than clothing. There was never a question about where I wanted make an impact.

The community of Morvant, Trinidad has always been my home away from home. My brothers and I were cared for by a woman from this community. Her name is Nneka. She had a profound impact on who I am. My prospective on the world, my personality, my tastes have all in part been shaped by her. I've been lucky enough to connect with her family on deeper level over the years and a couple of extended trips to the island.

One of people I connected with the most is her nephew Akeem. You can see us back in 2010 and more recently in early 2024. Akeem is a promoter, music manager, and most importantly a community leader. He always leads with positivity and sets an example for all of those fortunate enough to be around him. Its hard not to admire the way he represents his community and how he works to improve the lives of others there. With all the negative press that surrounds the island and communities like Morvant, it is incredibly important we recognize individuals like him. That is why I have partnered with him to support his efforts within the community and a portion of every sale on the site will contribute. This includes but is not limited to a holiday toy donations, food drives, back to school supplies, and community events. The goal is to establish reliable resources for the community.
